Shipping, returns and privacy

Shipping

Orders ship for a flat $4.99, free when the cards come to $50.00 or more. Cards go out sleeved, in a rigid mailer, with tracking; the number is emailed the moment the parcel leaves.
Every card is pulled and checked against the order before it is packed. Where we have photographed the exact copy, it is shown on your order page.
Cards are first come, first served. If one sells while you are checking out, the whole order stops and nothing is charged; you are told which card and can go again.

If a card arrives other than as described, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll make it right: a replacement where we have one, otherwise a full refund of that card, return postage on us.
Change of mind: unopened, undamaged singles can come back within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the cards; return postage is yours.
Refunds go back to the card that paid, and any store credit used goes back on your ledger. Card refunds usually show within a few business days.
Orders cancelled before they ship, by you or by us, are refunded in full.

Trade-in offers are quoted when you send them and hold for 14 days, at 70% of the shop value in store credit. Every card is checked and photographed on arrival. If the reading matches the offer, the credit is added at once; if it comes in lower, you see the photos and the revised figure and can take it or have the cards sent back.
Cards we can't take (damaged beyond Heavily Played, counterfeit, or not what was described) are returned to you.
Store credit never expires and comes off automatically at checkout. It isn't exchanged for cash.
Trades between hunters pass through the shop: both sides ship here, every card is checked and photographed, and anything short of the agreement is put to the trader who was receiving it before anything is cross-shipped.

Your account: email, name, password (stored only as a salted hash), and, once you have shipped an order, the address it went to, so the next checkout is quicker.
Your ledger: the binder, the bounty board, cards marked for trade, orders, trade-ins, and store credit. The binder and bounty board are yours to edit or clear at any time.
Photos taken at the shop of cards you send in (trade-ins and trades). They stay on the record of that trade-in or trade, and a copy follows the card onto the shelf as its listing photo.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
Emails we send: order confirmations and updates, trade and trade-in updates, password resets, and back-in-stock alerts for cards on your bounty board (switch those off on your account page). No marketing lists, and your email is never shared or sold.
Other hunters see only your first name and your trading record, never your email or address, and only if you list yourself in the trader directory.
To close your account, use “Delete my account” under your profile details. Orders, trade-ins and trades already on the books stay on file with the account detached; everything personal goes, and any store credit is forfeited rather than cashed out. Accounts with an order, trade or trade-in still open can't be closed until it settles.
